Danfoss Hot-tap System

The hot-tap system enables an easy, safe and environmental friendly as well as economical connection of a new customer - without having to cut off the heating supply to other district heating customers. This ensures better service towards existing customers of the district heating net.
 
In Breif the Hot-tap System Process is Carried out in the Following Way:

The valve is welded on to a main pipe while still in operation
2. step

The tool is mounted on the valve, and a hole in the main pipe is drilled through the valve
3. step

After the drilling of the hole, the valve is closed and the tool is dismounted
4. step

From the valve the branching is carried out. The valve is opened and the system is operating
